Maxwell Spayde is thrilled to be a part of Arts Academy. Prior to his role as AAW's principal, he was the District High School Assessment Coordinator for Grand Lodge Public Schools. From September of 2006 to May of 2007 he served as a principal intern at Thompson Elementary in Arlington Massachusetts.

Mr. Spayde received his Masters Degee in School Leadership-Principal Licensure from The Harvard Graduate School of Education in June of 2007. Before attending Harvard he received his Bachelors and Masters degrees in Instrumental Music Education from Michigan State University. Mr. Spayde taught music in Jackson Public Schools, Metro Charter Academy, and Meridian Public Schools, from 2001-2006.
